Privacy

This is a one-person site. I'm Chuks Ben Okafor, a software engineer based in Nigeria (WAT), and I run it myself. There is no company behind it collecting anything on the side.
What I collect
If you fill in the estimate form, I receive what you typed: your name, your email address, what you're building, your budget range, your timeline, and your description of the problem. That's the whole point of the form, and none of it is optional because I can't price a project without it.
Along with that, my server records how you arrived — the campaign parameters in the link you clicked, your browser's user-agent string, and the country Cloudflare resolves from your connection. I use this to tell which advertising is worth paying for. It is stored on the same record as your enquiry. I don't keep your IP address.
If you don't submit the form, I don't collect any of that. The campaign parameters are held in your browser's session storage until you either submit or close the tab, and they never reach my server on their own.
Where it goes
Into a Cloudflare D1 database, which is a private database only I can query. It is not sold, shared, published, or fed to any mailing list. I read enquiries myself and reply myself — there is no sales team, and nobody else has access.
I keep enquiries for as long as they might plausibly turn into work, and delete the rest. If you ask me to delete yours, I will, and I'll confirm when it's gone.
Third parties
The site loads Google Tag Manager, which I use to measure whether my advertising produces enquiries. It and the tags it loads set cookies and report to Google, and where I'm running campaigns that includes Google Ads and Meta. Those companies have their own privacy policies, and I have no control over what they do with what they collect.
If you choose to book a call, the calendar is provided by Cal.com and loads only at that point — if you never open it, nothing of yours reaches them. When you do, they receive your IP address, and the name, email address and reference the booking is made under. They then hold the appointment and send the invitation to both of us. Cal.com has its own privacy policy covering what it keeps.
Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so loading a page tells Google your IP address. The site itself is hosted on Cloudflare, which sees the same as any web host does.
If you'd rather none of that happened, a browser-level tracker blocker will stop it, and the site works perfectly well without it — nothing on this page depends on being measured.
Your rights over it
Ask me for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I'll do it — you don't need to cite a regulation, and I won't ask you why.
